  • Where do you fly?

    Brindabella Airlines flies to 12 destinations.  You can fly direct from Canberra to Newcastle; Brisbane to Coffs Harbour, Narrabri, and Tamworth; and Sydney to Cobar, Cooma (Snowy Mountains), Moree, Mudgee, Narrabri, and Orange.

  • Where do I check-in?

    Please use the Qantas check-in counters at all destination airports with the exception of Sydney and Cobar where we have a dedicated Brindabella Airlines counter. For Sydney check-in, please proceed upstairs to Domestic Terminal 2 where you will find our counter adjacent to security screening.  If you have no luggage to check-in please make your way upstairs to the Qantas Service Desk (Canberra only). Note that you can not check-in via Qantas Self Check-in stations.

  • How much baggage can I take on the aircraft?

    15kg checked-in baggage, 4kg hand luggage on all aircraft types.

  • Will I get charged for excess baggage?

    If you exceed the baggage limits you will be charged $5.50 per kg in excess of the limit, inclusive of GST.

  • What time do I need to check-in at the airport?

    We recommend you to be checked in 45 minutes prior to departure but a minimum of 30 minutes prior.

  • We recommend you arrive at the airport early to get through security and screening (where applicable).

  • Do I need a ticket?

    No, an electronic ticket (E-ticket) will be issued to you at Qantas check-in.

  • Can I earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points on your flights?

    Yes. To do so, please quote your Frequent Flyer membership number at the time of booking. Note that Qantas Frequent Flyer points are not available on all fares or all routes.  For more information about Qantas Frequent Flyer Point eligibility please call 02 6218 2990.

  • How can I redeem Qantas Frequent Flyer points on your flights?

    This can only be done through Qantas. To redeem you points please visit or phone 13 11 31, please note an Assisted Award Booking Fee applies for all telephone bookings.

  • Can I travel while pregnant?

    You can travel up until 28 weeks. After 28 weeks you will need to carry a letter from your doctor to state you are fit to travel.

  • Can my child travel?

    Infants (2 years and under) can travel free of charge when sitting on the adults lap.

  • Can my child travel unaccompanied?

    We are pleased to accept unaccompanied minors as passengers when traveling from Sydney to Moree and vice versa. This route is supported by a BAE Jetstream 41 aircraft. An unaccompanied minor is considered to be a person above 5 and below 12 years of age who intends to travel alone. Please contact our customer service centre on 1300 668 824 to make arrangements for the carriage of unaccompanied minors.

    Regrettably at this time, unaccompanied minor service is not available on other routes due to a mix of aircraft type being operated, which may result in the use of an aircraft that does not host a cabin crew service. A network wide unaccompanied minor service will be introduced as we progressively standardise our operating fleet to an all BAE Jetstream 41 fleet.

  • Can pets fly on your aircraft?

    Pets can fly if they have the appropriate cages. Pets must be checked in through Australian Air Express. Please contact 1300 668 824 to arrange travel times and payment.

  • Do you transport freight?

    Yes. Our freight handling services are provided through Australian Air Express. For all enquiries, please phone 13 12 13.




By entering the Brindabella Airlines Lucky Ticket Competition you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions


2.1 Entry is open to all residents of New South Wales, Australia.

2.2 Employees, contractors and their immediate families of Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

3.1 Each Brindabella Airlines Lucky Ticket promotion will advertise the start date of the promotion.  The promotion will run for a determined period of time.

3.2 In order to enter the competition entrants must follow the instructions Brindabella Airlines Facebook page ( and enter using the online form.

3.3 Multiple entries from the same person will not be accepted.

3.4 Entrants must submit their real name and details. Fake or fictitious character posts will not be eligible to win.

3.5 Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd will not be liable for any late, lost or misdirected entries.

3.6 Incomplete, incorrect or incomprehensible details will, at the sole and absolute discretion of Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd, invalidate the participant's entry into the competition.

3.7 By entering the competition you agree to give permission to Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd to email you promotional material about special fares and other irregular email marketing material. You can unsubscribe at any stage. Your email address will be kept confidential and not passed on to any third party.


4.1 There are will be one prize for each promotion.  The prize will be one, one way ticket on any Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd air services route.  The prize includes airport fees and any government taxes associated with travel against the winner ticket.  No booking fee will apply.  No payment will apply for travel against or booking a Brindabella Airlines Lucky Ticket flight.

4.2 The Brindabella Airlines Lucky Ticket cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

4.3 There will be a maximum of 60 Brindabella Airlines Lucky Tickets available to win between 5th February 2013 and 4th February 2014.


4.4 Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd reserves the right to alter, cancel or withhold offering the Brindabella Airlines Lucky Tickets.

4.5  Prize value will not exceed $249 (Two hundred and forty nine dollars) for any prize won as a result of entering this competition.


4.5 Passengers traveling on flights against a Brindabella Airlines Lucky Ticket agree to the airlines Conditions of Carriage which may be viewed at

5.2 The winners will be named on Facebook on the day of the end of the promotion.

5.3 Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd decision is final and correspondence regarding the result will not be entered into.

5.4 Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Company, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry, or who has, in the opinion of Company, engaged in conduct in entering the promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the promotion and/or Company.  Brindabella Airlines Pty Ltd reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Company becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.


6.1 the Company accepts no liability in the event that any outside act, agent or event should significantly hinder or prevent the competition.

6.2 The Company will not be held liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:

. a) during the competition,

. b) in the participation in any prize;

. c) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;

. d) in relation to failure of an online entry to be received by the Company on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;

. e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone or internet network or lines or mobile communications network or website related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or

. f) due to circumstances outside the Company’s reasonable control.

6.3 To the extent permitted by law, the winning entrant and their companion must exclude, release and forever discharge the Promoters, and all other persons involved in the conduct, promotion and organisation of this promotion, and their respective employees, officers, agents and contractors from all liability for claims, loss, damage, cost or expenses (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage, infringement of third party rights or otherwise) arising from or in connection with the participation in the prize or otherwise howsoever arising.

6.4 The Company assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

6.5 If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned by the Company may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State Legislation.
