Early flight booking pays off for Wee Waa resident

Brindabella Airlines has secured its first bookings in the lead up to the launch of its direct Moree to Brisbane service - marking the occasion by rewarding Wee Waa resident with complimentary flights for four to Brisbane.

Booking well ahead of the 5^th July launch date, Nanette Watson (pictured) proved it was a case of first in best dressed - landing the free return flights for her family by making history as Brindabella's very first passenger to book the new service.

The Wee Waa resident was thrilled to discover her early booking paid off in more ways than one – sparing her a tiring 7 hour post-surgery drive and scoring a well deserved family escape in the process. 

'I heard about the flights on the local radio and am VERY grateful not to have a 7 hour car trip home,' said Nanette. 'I'm so excited about the complimentary tickets as I never usually win anything!'

Highlighting the importance of the new route, Nanette said it would be of particular value to local businesses, families with children attending school in Brisbane, and anyone venturing to Brisbane for medical treatment.

'Many children from around here attend boarding schools in Toowoomba and Brisbane so it (the service) will facilitate visits home and keep families and friends more connected,' she said.

'Many of us also travel to Brisbane for medical appointments either for ourselves or family members so it will really help to save travelling time and days off work to make a return trip.'

'It will also be great for elderly patients who until now, have had to tackle the road trip to Brisbane for their specialist appointments,' Nanette concluded.

Delighted to be bringing the service to fruition in conjunction with Moree Plains Shire Council, Brindabella Airlines CEO, Jeff Boyd will head to Moree this coming Monday, 21 June to ensure everything is in place for the July start.

'I look forward to welcoming everyone to our launch and delivering what we hope will be a highly positive addition to the community services available to Moree Plains and surrounding areas,' said Jeff.
