New carrier Brindabella Airlines has announced the introduction of weekend services between Tamworth and Brisbane.
The regional airline commenced flying into the New England region in early May with two direct services per day Monday to Friday. With a flight time of just 70 minutes this has proved a popular travel option for many locals.
Making the announcement Mr Boyd, CEO Brindabella Airlines said, we have had a great response from the Tamworth - New England area, and are very pleased to be increasing our flight schedule to include weekend flights.
The weekend flights will commence Saturday 22 August 2009. Saturday flights will depart Brisbane at 6:30am and Tamworth at 8:15am. The Sunday service will depart Brisbane at 5:15pm and return from Tamworth at 7pm.
